Hardwood/Vinyl Floor Cleaning

When you sweep and mop to clean hardwood floors, you’re not removing all dirt. Cleaning hardwood floors requires deep dirt extraction because with out it, dirt, debris and allergens settle into cracks and crevices. Sweeping and mopping are important steps to maintain one’s floors and pick up daily dirt brought in by foot traffic. A professional hardwood cleaning is key to the longevity of your floors.

At Green Clean, first we buff the floor to get deep settled dirt in the floor. Second, we use our new technology that sprays the solutions on the floor, brushes and extracts it immediately, so that it doesn’t leave excess moisture. In the end, once the floor is completely dry, we add a refinish coat that will bring out your floor’s natural color.

Green Clean’s floor cleaning process is suitable for hardwood, vinyl and laminate.

We Clean Floors

1How do you deep clean hardwood floors?
After we pre test the floor and understand what kind of hardwood floor it is, we will clean in a 2 step process: First, we will buff the floors with the right pad to get the deep dirt out. The second step, we will use our hardwood floor machine to rinse the floor. This will spray the water with the solution, deep brush and suck the dirt right up, leaving your floor with the minimum amount of moisture as possible.
2How do clean hardwood with a wax coat?
At Green Clean Carpet we make sure to test every hardwood floor for a wax coat. In the event that the test is positive, we would not be able to complete the cleaning process because of the wax coating and your floor would have to be sanded and re-finished.
3Do you offer a REFINISH coat to protect the hardwood floor after cleaning?
Yes, after we complete the cleaning process by removing all the dirt and the floor is completely dry, we put 2 coats of refinish and make sure the floor will look it's best.
4Can you get out pet/urine stains from hardwood floor?
In this case, either cleaning or sanding the floor won't get the stain out. You will have to replace the wood planks.
5How do you deep clean Vinyl floors?
Vinyl floor is much easier to clean than hardwood floors. In this case we will pre spray the vinyl floor and then buff the floors with the light pad to get the deep dirt out. The final step is to go over the floor using a microfiber mop to give it the right finish.
